Fisherman’s Terminal in Seattle

March 31, 2011

One of the many thing sI love are boats. So beautiful. Just below my daughter’s home is the Fisherman’s Terminal of Seattle.

The boats of the Deadliest Catch dock in this area during the off-season as well as many of the salmon fishing boats. The salmon boats have been docking here for over 100 years.

Also, located at the terminal is the memorial to the lost at sea fisherman. Enjoy this short over view of photos I took during my last visit.

A wonderful day for a walk in the woods. Of course I will walk anywhere to be near the water. But was just a wonderful hike to the water and the rocky beach below.

Deception Pass in Washington

A wonderful place in Washington to┬áthink about my next paintings. “I know I have several to do and have several I need to do for a show at 801 Franklin. But, for now I am visiting grandchildren in Seattle, Washington. A short trip up the coast and I am at just one more beautiful place in Washington.

Below The Radar Logo is done

March 10, 2011

A friend of mine is going into the beer brewing business and I was aksed to come with a logo.

He is about to anounce his plans for the brewery, but I wanted to share the logo tonight with many of you. I tried to keep it simple clean and easy to recognize. Because we both graduated from Clemson it was not hard to come up with a color and the rest desing is meaningful as well but I will share that with you at a later date. Hope you like the design!

I love beer!
