It Isn’t Easy

Painting an abstract isn’t easy. For those of you that say it looks like something a child might do. Well very good point I wish I could paint like a child. To have the freedom not to be restricted by any rule and just let the paint flow. Some of my best works are done when I allow the brush to just react to the designs already on the canvas.

Well here is my latest abstract. It is not complete and the first photos of it were so bad I did not want to even share them with you. I feel I still have much to do to this painting and that means it may change significantly from what you see here. Since my paintings are based on emotion my attitudes change and how I approach this work today and tomorrow will be all together different from the way I worked on it yesterday.

"Abstract Part #1" 36"X36" acrylic still in the working process.
